Travis Rice

Full Bio(pdf)

Travis Rice graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Landscape Architecture and an art minor from Ball State University. He has worked as a landscape architect/artist in design offices in Florida and Wisconsin before landing in Des Moines, Iowa. He runs a freelance illustration/design consultation practice and serves as a faculty member in the Landscape Architecture Department at Iowa State University. Travis was one of the artistic contributors to the design of the Paragon Prairie Tower which will be located in Urbandale, IA as an artistic reminder of our Iowa Heritage. It will rise 120 feet and feature one of the largest glass tiled murals in the U.S.
