Glennray Tutor
Full Bio(pdf)
Glennray Tutor received his MFA in painting from the University of Mississippi in 1976. He is well-recognized as a second generation photo-realism artist and at times considered amongst the founders of photo-realism. In 2000, he was selected to be part of the prestigious Mobil Oil traveling exhibition, "Homeward Bound", where his work was exhibited alongside such names as Chuck Close, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, and others. In the words of Benjamin Herring, "..[one is] seduced by the many facets of Glennray's technique and the extraordinary effort required to accomplish such refinement. And the entrapment is exquisite. Glennray's work is beyond Realism."
